QUOTH THE WRITER ANTHOLOGY
**Submission Deadline for Issue 3 will be May 1, 2023**
In June of 2021, Quoth the Writer released its first anthology. At first, I, owner Lisa Hodorovych, wasn't 100% sure if I was going to continue publishing an anthology each year (or bi-annually, or quarterly, or monthly) until the first issue came out. Not only was it the pure joy I felt in creating it, but also the joy that came from the contributors that really pushed me to continue publishing this anthology. The fact that they kept on thanking me because they were able to live their dream was the cherry on top of an already incredible sundae!

Now, the journey continues as Quoth the Writer prepares for Issue 3: Writing Prompts.

On June 30, 2023, Quoth the Writer will be publishing its third anthology with the theme being writing prompts. After diving into the darkness of disease and anarchy in 2021 and then rising up to celebrate in 2022, I have decided to "slow" things down a bit and give you, the writer, the reins. For Issue 3, I am looking for writers to find a writing prompt that will inspire their muse and...well...write! It doesn't matter what that prompt is, if it leans more towards fantasy or horror or romance; whatever calls to you, write it and send it in. It just might be featured in QTW Anthology's next issue! I just ask no erotica and minimum profanity. Also, if you find a prompt that's more non-fiction or inspires you to write poetry, both are fine and acceptable.

The fiction and non-fiction pieces can be up to 10,000 words (about 40 pages, double-spaced) or less and only 10 or less poems can be submitted. You do not have to worry about formatting as I will take care of that; however, I do ask that you submit a Word document - or PDF - that is in Times New Roman, 12-pt font, and double-spaced.

There is NO submission fee for this.

Contributors will receive one (1) complimentary copy of the anthology and then any additional copies will be at a discounted rate (50%). Contributors will also get space on this website to showcase their other works.

When you are ready to submit, please send it to qtwanthology@gmail.com with the subject line stating, "Writing Prompts Anthology," your last name, and the form you are submitting (fiction, non-fiction, or poem). For example, "Writing Prompts Anthology - Hodorovych - Fiction". Lastly, when you do submit, please include the writing prompt, so I can add it in before your piece. Thank you!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, Lisa Hodorovych, at qtwanthology@gmail.com.
Let the fun continue!
